PRIMM srl is a well-established independent SME, specialized in R&D and custom biotechnology products and services for academic, governmental and industrial laboratories. PRIMM was founded in 1990, and since has expanded its activities to the areas of DNA/RNA synthesis; peptides synthesis, purification, modification and analytical control; PNA synthesis; production of polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies raised against proteins and peptides, DNA purification systems, DNA and protein sequencing, mass spectrometry analysis and the development of recombinant proteins and immunometric assays. In addition PRIMM has animal care and veterinarian facilities.

Paolo Sarmientos

Paolo Sarmientos Chemist has extensive experience in industrial R&D and experience as administrative and managing director. He received his degree in Chemistry at the University of Naples. Following a three-year postdoctoral training in US (NHI, Bethesda), he has worked as scientist and research manager in Rhone Poulenc (Paris) and Farmitalia Carlo Erba (Milan).

Angela Pontillo

Angela Pontillo has received her doctor degree in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology in 2001 at the University of Milan. She has acquired expertise in the field of organic chemical synthesis, purification and analysis, being now actively the manager of polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies unit and also involved in the design and synthesis of bio-active peptides.
